Arsenal Ladies gained revenge on loosing the Ladies League Cup Final against Charlton Ladies by beating them in the semi-final of the Ladies FA Cup today at Bishops Stortford FC by 2-1.
The Ladies took the lead midway through the second half through Julie Fleeting before Charlton Ladies equalised soon afterwards. The game then went into extra time and was going to penalties before Jayne "Freddie" Ludlow scored the winner two minutes into injury time.
Arsenal Ladies will play Leeds Ladies in the final being held on (Bank Holiday) Monday May 1st at The New Den (Millwall FC).
The Ladies next actual game is yet another against Charlton with the London County Cup Final being played this Wednesday night (22nd) at the Metropolitan Police FC, Imber Court, East Molesey (near Hampton Court) with a 7:30pm kickoff.
