Arsenal Ladies won 5-3 away against Doncaster Rovers Belles last Sunday in a highly entertaining game. It was Doncaster who led 1-0 at half time but second half goals from Lianne Sanderson, Julie Fleeting and Rachel McArthur put the score at 3-1 before Doncaster scored their second. Rachel Yankey MBE and Kelly Smith then struck the next two goals in quick succession before Doncaster pulled another goal back towards the end.
The Ladies finish their season with a possible double when they take on Leeds Ladies in the FA Cup Final at Millwall on May 1st. |
