Arsenal Ladies beat Doncaster Rovers Belles by 4-1 at Borehamwood in yesterdays delayed League Cup 1st round game. Julie Fleeting scored twice within the opening five minutes before Vicky Exley got the Belles into the game with a penalty. However Rachel Yankey increased the lead early in the second half before Fleeting got her hat-trick late in the game.
The Ladies will now face Birmingham at home in the next round but before then they travel to Iceland to play Breidablile in the away leg of the UEFA Cup Quarter Final this Thursday (12th October). |
