Arsenal Ladies scored five with no returns in the UEFA Cup Quarter Final First Leg away at Breidablik in Iceland. Kelly Smith put the ladies on their way before scoring her second in a ten minute spell in the second half that produced another three goals - one from Leanne Sanderson and two from Julie Fleeting.
The second leg which should be little more than a formality takes place at Borehamwood on Thursday 19th with a 7:30pm kickoff but before then Arsenal play Birmingham in the delayed League Cup Second Round with a 2pm kickoff at Borehamwood this Sunday 15th (winners at home to West Ham). |
