Arsenal Ladies destroyed northern league Nottingham Forest Ladies on Sunday by 9-0 to move into the semi-final of the League Cup. The goals were a hat-trick from Leanne Sanderson, a brace apiece for Kelly Smith and returning from injury Katie Chapman and then a single goal from Rachel Yankey and the goal of the game from Sian Larkin.
Arsenal Ladies now take on Chelsea Ladies in the one leg semi-final at home on December 3rd with a 2pm kickoff at Borehamwood. The winners will face Charlton or Leeds in the final.
Between then and now the Ladies face Birmingham away (26th November) and Charlton away (3rd December) in the Ladies Premiership. |
