this is story 771 of 781 in this topic to date
Having only beaten Leeds by 1-0 recently in the Ladies League Cup Final (with the goal coming in the 93rd minute) the Premiership game should have been a close affair but once again the Ladies completely massacred another team with the final score being Leeds Ladies - 1 Arsenal Ladies - 8. Once again it was all over in the first 15 minutes with Arsenal going 4-0 up with goals from Alex Scott, Lianne Sanderson, Karen Carney and Kelly Smith. A further two goals from Sanderson and two from Rachel Yankey completed the rout.

Other games in the Ladies Premiership were:

Birmingham City Ladies FC 1 v 2 Charlton Athletic LFC
Sunderland WFC 1 v 2 Bristol Academy WFC
Chelsea LFC 0 v 1 Blackburn Rovers LFC
Fulham WFC 0 v 1 Doncaster Rovers Belles WFC
Everton LFC 2 v 0 Cardiff City LFC

With the Ladies Premiership looking like this:

1 Arsenal FC Ladies 14 42
2 Everton LFC 15 34
3 Charlton Athletic LFC 12 31
4 Leeds United LFC 13 28
5 Blackburn Rovers LFC 17 25
6 Bristol Academy WFC 13 24
7 Chelsea LFC 12 21
8 Birmingham City Ladies FC 15 16
9 Doncaster Rovers Belles WFC 15 16
10 Sunderland WFC 19 10
11 Cardiff City LFC 17 9
12 Fulham WFC 16 3

The Ladies now face a double-header potential top of the table clash playing Charlton Athletic at home this Thursday 29th and then Charlton away on Thursday 5th.
