FA Cup semi final, Old Trafford
Middlesbrough had several good chances in the first half, but an own goal by Italian substitute Gianluca Festa from a Thierry Henry corner gave Arsenal the lead. After the break, Arsenal controlled the game, and Sylvain Wiltord and Henry squandered great chances. Arsenal suffered another injury blow as Sol Campbell and Oleg Luzhny were both stretchered off with injuries. Campbell will be out for at least three weeks with a hamstring strain, while Luzhny suffered a dead leg. Patrick Vieira finished the game at centre back... Arsenal meet Chelsea at the Milennium Stadium in Cardiff on May 4th.
