Arsenal's win over Wolves in the 4th round has been rewarded with a 3rd successive home tie against Football League opposition. This time it's either West Ham or Sheffield United, in a match to take place on February 19th or 20th.
The date and time is yet to be confirmed, but Arsenal will presumably be pressing strongly for a Saturday kick-off, perhaps an early one, because the Champs League starts again with the away leg in Munich on the following Tuesday.
West Ham let the Blades off the hook at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday. Only 1-0 up after a totally dominant first half, they let the visitors back into it in the second. Still, it took a possibly dodgy linesman's decision to seal the draw. Haven't seen replays yet but I'm told it's a very close call.
The United-United replay at Bramall Lane will be a lunchtime kick-off on Sunday 13th.
There are 2 big all-premiership ties in the round which seem likely to be the choice of the TV companies. But with our match being either an much-missed London derby or a repeat of the infamous "Steve Bruce, cry-baby" match, it's quite possible that they'll be interested in it too.
