Semi final referee David Elleray defends his
controversial decision to disallow Roy Keane's "goal".
Any blame is put on the referee's assistant, as Elleray
said to Sky Sports: "I acted exactly on what my assistant
told me. I haven't seen any video replay or anything.
He told me that there was an offside in the build-up
to the goal and I have to accept his view."
Elleray says to Sporting Life that he looks forward to the
replay, and that the same four officials will be in charge
of that game.
