In the new edition of his autobiography "Addicted",
Tony Adams has slammed Manchester United's
"arrogant" decision to opt out of the FA Cup this
year, saying that it's an insult to the competition.
He points out quite rightly that United have a large
enough squad to field a team of some sort in the FA Cup
despite their trip to Brasil for the World Club Championship.
But in the most outspoken criticism yet, Adams goes as far as
saying that if United are allowed not to play in the FA Cup
this season, they shouldn't be allowed back in, ever.
