Rupe adds... Although leaving a good break after the Nantes game, this would actually give us only 2 days before a potential Worthington Cup quarter-final on December 15th. But perhaps none of the squad for the FA Cup tie would be playing in that competition so the short recovery time wouldn't be an issue.
Mind you, shouldn't count our chickens: we have to get past the mighty Middlesbrough in the 4th round of the Worthington Cup first.

Further update: AFCi has now retracted its earlier claim that the game is live on Sky. It is on Monday to avoid clashing with the Tottenham game on Sunday (which would have been played Sun or Mon regardless of TV because Newcastle are still in the UEFA cup).
