Fredrik Ljungberg's foot injury, picked up in the 0-0 draw at Leicester, is definitely going to keep him out of the squad to travel to QPR on Saturday, and probably for the next 3 (Premiership) matches too. So it's touch and go as to whether he'll be back to face Lyon on Feb 13th, but he should be ok for Man Utd on 25th.
Both Luzhny and Edu are not expected to be back
until around the same date. But Kanu, Lauren,
Grimandi and Upson are all hoping to be ready
for the game against Bradford City on Tuesday, so it's not
inconceivable that we'll see some of them at the FA Cup tie on Saturday.
Edu's injury is a pulled hamstring. Edu came on for Freddie at halftime on Saturday, because of the latter's injury. 20 minutes later, Edu had to come off himself, to be replaced by Dennis Bergkamp. Interestingly, Dennis has said on his official website
that Edu's injury could be a blessing in disguise, as it'll give him time to acclimatise.
Edu looked very classy for the short while he was on.
See match preview page for more including QPR squad news.
