For their first game back in the French top flight, feeder club AS Saint-Etienne grabbed one deserved point at Monaco as they drew 2 all. Brazilian striker Aloisio levelled the score at the 52nd minute when he astutely lobbed keeper Barthez from the edge of the box after a Mettomo perfect through ball. On loan left-back David Grondin who left the field during the Arsenal friendly game is still injuried and didn' t play. Other scorers were Marco Simone (10) and Trezeguet (29) for Monaco, Pedron (17) for ASSE. |
