Monsieur le Boss recently said that he still expects a reply from Bordeaux although he disagrees about the asking price. His last offer rumoured to be around £10 million is what he thinks Wiltord is worth, and reiterates that he will pay no more.
Talking to L' Equipe Arsène said of young Aliadière that "he' s not ready yet [to play first team football]. For instance, he' s physically not as advanced Anelka was at the same age"
Meanwhile David Grondin who joined 2nd Division club AS Cannes on loan made his home debut in a 6-4 win over Niort. Although being originally a left-back it seems he will hold a central midfield position during the forthcoming season. This makes sense : Who needs another young LB at THOF when we have S16 and AC29?
