For the umpteenth time Arsenal' s boss (Bob Pires words) Patrick Vieira reiterated that he feels good at Highbury. He told l' Equipe that he still has 4 years remaining to his current contract and that he has never been directly approached by any club (other sources say "by Juve" who have reportedly proposed £30 million to lure him, not Inter)
"I don' t intend to get back to Italy. If I leave one day, it will be to live a new experience" he added.
He also said, speaking of Arsène : "We appreciate each other and as a coach he' s offered me a lot. Even if he leaves, I could stay at Arsenal"
An other Frenchie full of praises is Bob Pires who on the eve of the friendly against Portugal told France Football that his mentality has changed since he plays for us. "Arsenal brought me stability and made me conscious of my potential. What I' d lost during my last season with Marseilles." |
