Further to what Rupe wrote earlier, last week France Football assumed Arsenal were not watching Mouscron' s Nenad Jestrovic [relief] who could join spurs but his Egyptian team-mate Hossam. A bit of a mystery man this lad as neither the Excelsior' s Official website nor any fans' site mention his name in their current squad. FF however added that also Ajax, Anderlecht, Bordeaux, Marseilles and Soton are reportedly keen on signing the 18 year-old striker for a fee valued around £3 million.

Today' s Sud Ouest newspaper reports Sylvain' s former club Bordeaux and Arsenal were interested in Porto' s Capucho... and that the 29 year-old offensive midfielder turned down both offers. See here for Capucho profile)
