They must have been dancing in the streets of Reykjavik on Wednesday night, as Iceland beat Sweden 2-1 in another curiously-timed friendly. The Swedes opened the scoring with Mjallby heading in off a rebounded shot by our own Fred Ljungberg. But Iceland equalised 5 minutes before the break, and scored the winner from the penalty spot 5 minutes from the end.
Arseweb's Scandinavian correspondent is on holiday, but we suspect the Aftonbladet headline 'FIASKO' isn't especially positive. On the bright side, Ljungberg can't be held responsible - he was one of six players substituted at half-time.
