Summer signing Lauren scored what proved to be the game-winning goal, as Cameroon recorded a win in their first match of the Olympic tournament.
Cameroon beat Kuwait 3-2, with Lauren scoring the third on 86 minutes. He played the full game, and we haven't heard of any injury problems.
And suddenly it becomes clear why Nigeria were so keen to get Kanu for the games - they could only manage a 3-3 draw against Honduras. |
