Arsenal's Lauren is proving to be one of the leading lights in the Olympic soccer tournament. He opened the scoring in Cameroon's final group game against the Czech Republic, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
That was enough to give the Indomitable Lions second place in the group, behind the Americans on goal difference - and a place in the next phase.
The Kanu-less Nigeria also finished second in their group, after a 1-1 draw with Italy. |
