Three Gooners in England starting lineup by Simon
on 10/10/00 at 12:41
this is story 160 of 368 in this topic to date

David Seaman and Ray Parlour will be in the England team led out to face the Finns by Arsenal's own Martin Keown on Wednesday night.

Caretaker boss Howard Wilkinson has named an astonishing take-no-prisoners lineup including three centre-forwards: Heskey, Sheringham and Cole, with Scholes presumably slotting in behind. Parlour's been in an adventurous state of mind in recent weeks, and he'll undoubtedly be looking to get forward.

The back line will be: Barry, Keown, Southgate and Phil Neville, with Dennis Wise in the holding role. Hmm.
