France coach Roger Lemerre was said to continue his
'experiements' when he named his squad for a friendly
international against Turkey in Istanbul on November 15. But he has yet to extend a hand to in-form Arsenal midfielder Gilles Grimandi. Grimandi has become a first team regular at Highbury following the departure of Emmanuel Petit to Barcelona. The 30-year-old has been one of Arsenal's most consistent performers so far this season. Injured winger Robert Pires must also wait for a recall from his country. Instead, Patrick Vieira, Thierry Henry and Sylvain Wiltord all travel to Turkey. |
