David Platt has named four Arsenal players in his first England
under-21 squad, for the friendly against Holland at the Madejski stadium next Tuesday (14 August). Francis Jeffers, Matthew Upson, Jermaine Pennant and Stuart Taylor make up the largest single-club contingent in the 26 man squad. See for instance, this PA/Sporting Life story for the full squad.
Update Fri, Upson has withdrawn from the squad because of the ankle injury he suffered in the game against Roma. |
