The usual Arsenal' s Four Musketeers started the game after Bob and Patrick officially received the Adidas trophies they were rewarded for their performances during the Confederations Cup.
Robert Pires was very lively on the left and honoured his fiftieth cap for Les Bleus by scoring on 13 mins after he dispossessed Laursen. Pat had a quiet game while SW11 who played on the right wing was rather anonymous and TH14 on his own upfront. All were replaced after one hour of play or so.
France next friendly is scheduled on Sat, Sep. 1 in Chile. |
