| Four Gooners in French trip to Chile |

French boss Roger Lemerre has named four Arsenal players in the squad to play Chile in a September 1 friendly in Santiago.
Vieira, Henry, Pires and Wiltord are joined by former Gooner Emmanuel Petit in the party of 20 making the 15,000 mile round trip. Barthez, Silvestre and Desailly complete the English premiership's 8-man contribution.
Lemerre says he will name a full-strength side in the game as he prepares for the World Cup... on previous form, that means all four Arsenal players will play.
Luckily it is a Saturday game, with no midweek fixtures either side. But we still have a horrible feeling about all this, with Chelsea coming to Highbury the following week. |
