France's trip to Australia for a friendly international next month will go ahead. This was confirmed by French soccer chief Claude Simonet on Friday. A host of top European clubs, among them Arsenal, have opposed the trip because their French internationals would travel across the globe in the busiest part of the European season. To appease critics, the French federation have hired a private jet to make the trip more comfortable for the players.
