Sweden's preparations to the World Cup were rocked today by a fight between Fredrik Ljungberg and international teammate Olof Mellberg of Aston Villa.

The two players clashed violently in training, following a couple of unsavoury tackles. Teammates had to separate Ljungberg and Mellberg as they ended up wrestling on the ground.

They later shook hands, but federation officials confirmed to Swedish papers that they're not used to this kind of in-fighting...

Ljungberg is back in full training, despite still having back pains.
