Keegan has announced the England squad for the much criticised friendly in Hungary next week. It seems he's done a deal with Wenger and Ferguson - two players from each team left out, Adams and Parlour for Arsenal, Beckham and Gary Neville for the Moaners. Seaman and Keown are the Arsenal players in the squad - the latter is suspended for Arsenal's next two games anyway.
Full squad:
Seaman (Arsenal), Martyn (Leeds), Campbell
(Tottenham), Ferdinand (West Ham), Keown (Arsenal),
Le Saux (Chelsea), P Neville (Man Utd), Brown (Man
Utd), Southgate (Aston Villa), Woodgate (Leeds), Gray
(Sunderland), Batty (Leeds), Lampard (West Ham),
McManaman (Liverpool), Redknapp (Liverpool),
Scholes (Man Utd), Butt (Man Utd), Sherwood
(Tottenham), Shearer (Newcastle), Cole (Man Utd),
Phillips (Sunderland), Heskey (Leicester) |
