French national coach Roger Lemerre has made it clear that Thierry Henry won't feature in his plans before Euro 2000, but he believes that the winger will regain his best form after signing for Arsenal.

Lemerre says to Reuters that "... he has realised his dream and I know he's going to do well there, but he is not an option for France at the moment."

It's not that Henry isn't good enough, either. Arsenal's newest signing was sent off in an U21 international last season, and has to serve a four-match international suspension this autumn.
