Seaman, Adams, Keown and Parlour are in England boss Kevin Keegan's squad to face Poland and Luxembourg in the forthcoming Euro 2000 qualifiers, which are absolutely crucial to the side's progress.
Keegan hasn't dared do a Gullit, though - Alan Shearer is also included, as is teammate Kieron Dyer. At first glance, it seems that every Englishman in the Liverpool setup has got in too. Old age pensioner Stuart Pearce makes a triumphant return to the international scene, but there's no place for Andy Cole or Paul Ince. The full squad is:
Seaman (Arsenal), Martyn (Leeds), Walker (Spurs), both Nevilles (ManU), Adams (Arsenal), Southgate (Villa), Pearce (West Ham), Woodgate (Leeds), Campbell (Spurs), Ferdinand (West Ham), Keown (Arsenal), Batty (Leeds), Dyer (Newcastle), Anderton (Spurs), Beckham (ManU), Parlour (Arsenal), Redknapp (Liverpool), Shearer (Newcastle), Fowler (Liverpool), Owen (Liverpool), Sutton (Chelsea), Sherwood (Spurs), McManaman (Real Madrid), Sheringham (ManU), Phillips (Sunderland), Scholes (ManU).
