According to eg Football365, Arsenal and England keeper David Seaman has been told
he must prove his fitness to the England boss tomorrow. Seaman
hasn't played for Arsenal since sustaining a calf injury
in the pre-season friendly against Monaco (not St Etienne as stated on football365). The chances of
his making Saturday's game against Luxembourg are minimal,
and Poland next Wednesday is only marginally more likely.
Also, the Mirror today reckons Tony Adams has a good chance of
making the starting line-up for Saturday, partnering his
Arsenal team-mate Martin Keown (surely one of the
first names on the team sheet) in central defence.
