Only the one Gooner in the France squad to play a friendly against Croatia in Paris on Saturday, namely Patrick Vieira. Petit has been left out, having only just recovered from injury - not to mention yesterday's (ahem) incident. Vieira may find himself marking Davor Suker, who's included in the Croat squad.
Thierry Henry is included in the French U21 squad to play Italy in a competitive game on Sunday. He's joined by one N Anelka - the name may ring a bell, but since we always get complaints when we talk about him, we'll say no more. |
