As expected, Kanu is named in Nigeria's preliminary squad for the Africa Nations' Cup, starting January 8. The Arsenal striker is also wanted by his country's association to join a training camp in Spain at Christmas, but manager Arsène Wenger won't let him go. "If they ask for Kanu for the training camp, I will say no," Wenger says to Online Mirror. The full squad, if you're that interested, is listed at Dailysoccer.
