Interviewed on the radio before the Leicester game today
David Dein revealed that, not content with persuading the
Nigerian FA to let us play Kanu today (although sadly he
started on the bench), Arsenal are to ask the NFA to let us
have Kanu for Arsenal matches when he isn't needed in
the African Nations Cup. Apparently Coventry's Moroccan
players are coming back next weekend for City's match,
but Dein appeared to be saying we were asking for Kanu to
come back to London between Nations Cup matches.
Surely you jest, Mr Dein?
We say, "Same old Arsenal, taking the piss"
