Nicolas Anelka, taking time out from his contradictory statements to the press about life at Highbury, struck the only two goals of the match in the second half for France against England and might have had a third, which bounced down on or behind the line. The bad news: both Keown and Dixon were substituted, Lee having taken a knock to the head (possible concussion worry) and Martin tweaking a hamstring.
