Hooray! Official club site Arsenal.com announces that Ian Wright Wright Wright will again play football in an Arsenal shirt. Sort of.
He is apparently confirmed among the Arsenal team which will play in the national finals of the Masters Series indoor competition for (ahem) 'seniors' on Sunday. (But then again, he was listed among those expected to play in the London heats!)
'I can't wait to put the boots back on and step out in the old red and white of my beloved Arsenal,' they quote him. 'It's also a privilege to play alongside the likes of Liam Brady and Paul Davis (not to mention Perry Groves and Eddie McGoldrick - Ed) - you can bet we'll be taking it very seriously because we want to win.'
We're in a group with Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday, with only the winner progressing to the final. The other group consists of Rangers, Aberdeen and Liverpool. It's live on Sky Sports 1.
