Former Arsenal player Andy Linighan has been sacked
by Crystal Palace.
One of George Graham's army of centre-halves, Linighan was
only ever cover for Adams and Bould, but will be remembered
fondly for his last gasp
FA Cup winner in the double cup season.
The sacking comes after an "unacceptable incident" on a trip to
Spain. There was "no physicality involved" but, whatever it
was, the incident was enough for the club to terminate his contract after consultation with the PFA. |
