Former Arsenal star David Rocastle is suffering from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a cancer which attacks the immune system, it has been revealed.
'He has a very young family and, obviously, this is a very difficult time for them,' said his agent, Jerome Anderson. 'Of course, everybody is rooting for him. David is known worldwide and has been a hero to many people throughout his career.'
Rocky was in the Arsenal squad which won the league by a hair's breadth in 1989 and by a mile in 1991. He won 14 England caps, and finished his career in 1997 while at Hull City.
