Former Arsenal hero Bob McNab is part of the
consortium trying to reach a deal to buy Portsmouth
from the administrators currently running the club.
According to this Guardian story the deal is due
to go before the creditors today.
However, Soccernet reports that UEFA are investigating
and may block the sale, since Florida millionaire Milan
Mandaric, who is heading the group, is also trying to
take control of Belgian club Charleroi.
McNab has been coaching and scouting in the States for some
years, and is credited with some impressive discoveries
including Preki and Paolo Wanchope
