Former reserve team midfielder James Harper scored on his Reading debut against Rotherham this weekend. Reading went on to win the Second Division game 2-0, with Harper scoring the opener.
ArseWeb reader Mike Gray was there (couldn't get a ticket for the West ham game) and says Harper was very impressive, easily the best player on the park. Of course, being the best in a Reading-Rotherham match doesn't necessarily mean he'd have made it at Arsenal. Anyway, we wish him well.
