There were a few writings of late on the internet about former cult-hero "Allez Gilles" Grimandi. France Football mag reported recently the lad is training on his own with French 2nd division club ASOA Valence.
He conceded that it would have been hard for him to get a first team spot given the quality of the current squad at THOF and that he had enough to appear as a sub. "The club was getting too big for me" he said, and he added it took him six weeks to digest his leaving.
To sum it all he told FF "It' s easy to leave Monaco for Arsenal, it' s much more difficult to find a continuation to Arsenal" |
