Arsenal's Paolo Vernazza went straight into the Portsmouth side (alongside former Gunner, Jason Crowe) which faced Wolves at the weekend. Paolo's on loan to Pompey for 3 months, with a view to getting some first-team experience - so that's a result... shame about the result.
Portsmouth took an early 2-0 lead, but managed to throw it away with three late goals, including an 89th minute winner. Whoops. Sadly, the match reports don't make any particular mention of Paolo's contribution either. |
