In an interview given to french channel TF1 this morning, he reaffirmed he has no regrets after having joined Madrid.

"I didn' t left Arsenal for money. I wanted to play for Real, I would have joined Madrid for nothing. I know they [AFC] intended to sell me the season after should I have stayed. To leave Arsenal was my decision, not my brothers. They wanted me to stay there in the interest of my career. I maybe made a mistake to leave Arsène Wenger who is a very, very good coach" he said.

According to spanish press he didn' t show up for an early afternoon training session today.
