It's easier to list who's not playing.
Seaman is still out of course, and Wright is still a couple
of weeks away from playing. Taylor continues in goal. Ljungberg
is a new addition to the injury list.
Adams and Dixon are both in training but not expected to be used for a
couple more weeks at least.
The following players are rested and do not make the trip:
Thierry Henry, Patrick Vieira, Dennis Bergkamp, Sol Campbell,
Lauren, Ashley Cole, and Ray Parlour.
But Upson, Taylor, Keown, Wiltord, Kanu, and Grimandi are all
in the squad, along with the fringe players such as
Edu, Gio, Pennant.
Rovers have Flitcroft and Bjornebye out with injuries,
and Lucas Neill unavailable through being cuptied (or suspended,
depending where you look).
Rovers see this cup as their best chance of qualifying
for Europe, so will be fielding the strongest side they can. |
