Arsenal will field the usual mix of young pretenders, established stars who are failing to get first team action, and first-teamers returning from injury whe they travel to West Brom for the League Cup tie on Tuesday night.
One possibility is apparently that Lauren might start his comeback from injury. On Sunday's showing he might find it hard to oust Kolo Toure from the rightback slot. Can't be a bad thing if Lauren feels his place is not guaranteed. Wenger has been quoted as saying the Cameroon star has a 90% chance of making it.
Keown is another who is being eased back after injury, having been on the bench for the last couple of matches (but only getting on the field once so far). Even with the players who started on Sunday against Blackburn all sitting out, there are a lot of scary names on Arsenal's potential squad list. Kanu, Wiltord, Edu and Parlour could feature, and Aliadiere is bound to start up front.
So it's going to be very tough for West Brom. They could really do with midfield playmaker Jason Koumas, but he faces a fitness test on the day having missed training on Monday with a hamstring strain picked up in the 2-2 draw with Crewe at the weekend. Defender Darren Moore is back from the flu, but full-back Robinson is cup-tied.
Although the table-topping Baggies are unbeaten in 11 fixtures in all competitions, in the league they haven't actually won any of their last 5 home games.
