In brief: Latest is that Arsenal will be resting Adams, Overmars, and Petit. Bergkamp, Dixon, and Seaman are all unavailable through
injury, with question marks over Kanu and Keown. There has
been speculation about Jermaine Pennant getting a game but
this seems to be down to the fact that this is his last chance to become Arsenal's youngest ever player. There are plenty of players before him in the pecking order so if he does get a game
tonight it'll just got to show what a big softy the boss is.
Gary Pallister has pulled out of the Boro squad with a recurrnce
of his back problem (spinelessness?).
Arsenal thrashed Boro 5-1 only 10
days ago, but there's a good chance that we'll see quite
a different Arsenal side this time.
The winners of this 4th round tie play Tranmere or Barnsley
in the quarter-final, and the worst the winners of that
have to worry about in the semi is Wimbledon. See
league cup page for
full draw.
