Welcome to the new newsreel topic devoted to
Cybury Gooners, the football team of the
Arsenal mailing-list.
See the Cybury
Gooners website, hosted here on ArseWeb, for more on their
glorious history, including their triumph at this year's
WorldNet competition (yes, they're World Champs).
This newsreel topic will be devoted to covering all Cybury
news, and will be maintained by members of the team,
including the management team.
The team will be playing this Saturday morning against
Crewe Alexandra's Internet team, so if you fancy going down to
cheer on some fellow gooners, as they attempt to continue
to do justice to God's chosen colours, here are the details:
Venue: Regent's park
kick off: 10:30.
Cybury Gooners will be the team playing in the shiny new
Arsenal home kit. You'll still have
plenty of time to make it to the real team's home match against
Watford, and to the pub on the way
there too.
