Lincoln 1 Cybury Gooners 9
Team : Williams; Dyer, S.Melis, Peters, M.Melis; Cooper, Barrow, McCarthy,
Motture; Lowry, Gentle.
Subs : King, Sweeney, Parry, Reibschied, Udoh, Adesoji.
scorers : Gentle 3, Barrow 2, Peters, Cooper, S.Melis, Udoh.
With this big win Cybury need at least a draw from tommorows
game with Gillingham to secure the league championship.
With news filtering through that our top of the table rivals
Luton won 7-2 against Brentford, the league championship race
is still open. This game saw two debuts
Nick Barrow (who scored twice) and Christian Sweeney who showed pace and composure. The game also saw the welcome
return of Usen Udoh. He made a dash to play the second
half of the game from Heathrow airport, on a connecting stop
from Lagos to the USA! Now there is dedication. Man of
the match had to be Pete Gentle with the perfect hattrick.
Left foot, right foot and head.
