PA reports that Ray Parlour has shaken off the ankle injury which threatened his participation in Saturday's league clash with Sunderland. A lengthy lay-off was feared for Parlour after he badly twisted an ankle at Derby on Tuesday, they write, but X-rays revealed no substantial damage. Nigel Winterburn has also shrugged off a slight ankle-injury doubt, and Fred Ljungberg is back after knee trouble. |
