Patrick Vieira's impending absence will be relieved somewhat
by the return of his partner in excellence Emmanuel Petit.
Petit is back in training after 10 games out with knee ligament
trouble, and says he's "hoping to be back in action against Preston" (in the Worthington Cup 3rd round clash at
Highbury on Tuesday 12th).
Manu says that the normal recovery time for such an injury
is 6 to 8 weeks, and he'll have missed 7 so he's on schedule.
So why have the papers been telling us he'll be back in 2 weeks, every week for the last month and a half? Surely they couldn't
have been making it up? |
