Despite coming through the match against Chelsea's reserves
this week, it seems that there's no guarantee that Emmanuel Petit will be playing
against their first team at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
Manu says he's 80% fit, but that perhaps "it would be best
to start on the bench". See AFCi
Given that we're missing both Vieira
and Grimandi through suspension, his presence could be crucial.
But his focus seems to be on Wednesday's Champions League match
against Fiorentina. According to Wenger we can't afford to lose
again in the Premiership (especially to a title rival like Chelsea). But that's just a theory. If we lose on Wednesday we're
definitely out of the Champions League, and Wenger may also prefer to bring Petit back in a match when he can be paired up with Vieira. We'll see.
